Funding support for watershed monitoring, assessment and planning activity to address water quality impairments in the Navasota River watershed have been funded in part by the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board’s State Nonpoint Source Grant program and by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality through state funding from the Total Maximum Daily Load program and the Nonpoint Source Program using federal funds from the Clean Water Act Section 319(h) program administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
